संकटविनाशनं श्रीगणपतिस्तोत्रम्

श्लोक 1

प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं गौरीपुत्रं विनायकम्।
भक्तावासं स्मरेन्नित्यमायु:कामार्थसिद्धये॥

Hindi Meaningसिर झुकाकर गौरीपुत्र और विनायक का नमन करता हूँ। जो भक्तों के निवास स्थान हैं, उनका नित्य स्मरण करने से आयु, इच्छाओं और धन की प्राप्ति होती है।

English MeaningI bow my head to Lord Vinayaka, son of Gauri. By remembering him daily, the abode of devotees, one gains longevity, fulfillment of desires, prosperity, and success.

श्लोक 2

प्रथमं वक्रतुण्डं च एकदन्तं द्वितीयकम्।
तृतीयं कृष्णपिङ्गाक्षं गजवक्त्रं चतुर्थकम्॥

Hindi Meaningपहला नाम वक्रतुण्ड, दूसरा एकदन्त, तीसरा कृष्णपिंगाक्ष और चौथा गजवक्त्र है।

English MeaningThe first name is Vakratunda, the curved-trunked one; the second is Ekadanta, the one-tusked one; the third is Krishnapingaksha, the dark tawny-eyed one; and the fourth is Gajavaktra, the elephant-faced one.

श्लोक 3

लम्बोदरं पञ्चमं च षष्ठं विकटमेव च।
सप्तमं विघ्नराजेन्द्रं धूम्रवर्णं तथाष्टमम्॥

Hindi Meaningपाँचवां लम्बोदर, छठा विकट, सातवां विघ्नराजेन्द्र और आठवां धूम्रवर्ण है।

English MeaningThe fifth name is Lambodara, the large-bellied one; the sixth is Vikata, the formidable one; the seventh is Vighnarajendra, lord of obstacles; and the eighth is Dhumravarna, the smoke-colored one.

श्लोक 4

नवमं भालचन्द्रं च दशमं तु विनायकम्।
एकादशं गणपतिं द्वादशं तु गजाननम्॥

Hindi Meaningनवां भालचन्द्र, दसवां विनायक, ग्यारहवां गणपति और बारहवां गजानन है।

English MeaningThe ninth name is Bhalachandra, bearer of the moon on the forehead; the tenth is Vinayaka; the eleventh is Ganapati; and the twelfth is Gajanana, the elephant-faced Lord.

श्लोक 5

द्वादशैतानि नामानि त्रिसंध्यं य: पठेन्नर:।
न च विघ्नभयं तस्य सर्वसिद्धिकरं प्रभो॥

Hindi Meaningजो व्यक्ति इन बारह नामों को प्रातः, दोपहर और सायं तीनों समय पढ़ता है, उसे किसी विघ्न का भय नहीं रहता और वह सभी सिद्धियाँ प्राप्त करता है।

English MeaningWhoever recites these twelve names at the three junctions of the day has no fear of obstacles, and the Lord grants all attainments.

श्लोक 6

विद्यार्थी लभते विद्यां धनार्थी लभते धनम्।
पुत्रार्थी लभते पुत्रान् मोक्षार्थी लभते गतिम्॥

Hindi Meaningविद्यार्थी विद्या प्राप्त करता है, धन चाहने वाला धन पाता है, पुत्र की इच्छा रखने वाला पुत्र प्राप्त करता है, और मोक्ष की इच्छा रखने वाला मुक्ति को प्राप्त करता है।

English MeaningThe seeker of knowledge gains learning, the seeker of wealth gains prosperity, the seeker of children is blessed with children, and the seeker of liberation attains the supreme path.

श्लोक 7

जपेत् गणपतिस्तोत्रं षड्भिर्मासै: फलं लभेत्।
संवत्सरेण सिद्धिं च लभते नात्र संशय:॥

Hindi Meaningइस गणपति स्तोत्र का छः महीने तक जाप करने से फल मिलता है और एक वर्ष में सिद्धि प्राप्त होती है। इसमें कोई संशय नहीं है।

English MeaningBy chanting this Ganapati Stotram for six months, one receives its fruit; within a year, accomplishment is attained. There is no doubt about this.

श्लोक 8

अष्टभ्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च लिखित्वा य: समर्पयेत्।
तस्य विद्या भवेत्सर्वा गणेशस्य प्रसादत:॥

Hindi Meaningजो इसे आठ ब्राह्मणों को लिखकर समर्पित करता है, उसे गणेशजी की कृपा से सभी प्रकार की विद्या प्राप्त होती है।

English MeaningWhoever writes and offers this to eight Brahmins receives all forms of knowledge by the grace of Lord Ganesha.
